About Sobha Realty

Sobha Group was founded in 1976 by PNC Menon, who started out with an interior decoration business in Oman. From there the group grew into contracting, manufacturing and real estate development across the Middle East and India; its sister company in India, Sobha Limited, was established in 1995.

In Dubai the group develops under the Sobha Realty brand. Its first master community, Sobha Hartland in Mohammed Bin Rashid City, covers about eight million square feet close to Downtown Dubai and Ras Al Khor and combines apartment towers, villas, schools and green spaces.

What sets Sobha apart is its fully backward-integrated model. The company handles design, engineering and construction itself and manufactures many of the materials and components it uses — including glazing, metal works, joinery and interior elements — which gives it close control over build quality and finishing. In 2024 it added a modular and façade factory.

In 2024 Sobha Realty reported record sales of AED 23 billion, around 50% more than the year before, and Ravi PNC Menon became Chairman of Sobha Group, with PNC Menon continuing as Founder. Recent launches include Sobha Hartland II, Sobha One, Sobha SeaHaven in Dubai Harbour, Sobha Central on Sheikh Zayed Road, Sobha Sanctuary and Sobha Siniya Island in Umm Al Quwain.
