ONE Development was established in 2023 by founder and chairman Ali Al Gebely. Its first project, the twin-tower Laguna Residence in City of Arabia, has 1,492 homes and an announced value of AED 2 billion; its first phase sold out within 30 days in late 2024.
DO Hotels & Residences on Dubai Islands was created with Egyptian singer Amr Diab as a music-themed hotel and residences project, due in Q4 2027.
The company entered Abu Dhabi in December 2025 with ONE Residence, a 31-storey tower on Al Reem Island, followed by Joud Residence, a 48-storey tower of 289 residences due in Q2 2029.
