About Kleindienst Group
Kleindienst Group bought its islands in The World archipelago from Nakheel in 2008 and restarted construction of The Heart of Europe in January 2014. The group is led by founder and chairman Josef Kleindienst.
The destination spans six islands themed on European locations — including Sweden, Germany, Switzerland and the Côte d'Azur — with the Floating Seahorse villas, which have underwater bedrooms. About 2,000 first-phase units began handing over in December 2020.
Hotels include voco Monaco Dubai with 198 keys; in February 2024 the group signed with IHG for the InterContinental Resort Portofino.
