Over Dubai South Properties
Dubai South werd in 2006 door de regering van Dubai gelanceerd als Dubai World Central en in 2015 hernoemd tot Dubai South. De stad van 145 vierkante kilometer is gebouwd rond Al Maktoum International Airport. Dubai South Properties is de masterontwikkelaar; groeps-CEO Nabil Al Kindi leidt het bedrijf sinds 2019.
De eerste woon-community’s waren The Pulse — appartementen, townhouses en villa’s — en The Pulse Beachfront, een uitverkochte community van 788 villa’s en townhouses. Pulse Villas werden in 2021 gelanceerd met 342 units.
Het vlaggenschip is South Bay, met meer dan 800 villa’s en townhouses, meer dan 200 mansions aan het water en een lagune van 1 kilometer; South Bay Mall opende in november 2025. Nieuwere projecten zijn onder meer South Square, de Hayat-townhouses, South Living, Parklane en Beachfront Gates. Volgens Forbes Middle East waren er per januari 2026 2.550 units opgeleverd en 2.670 in aanbouw.
